Blue Skies Table Lamp

Blue skies is a table lamp composed of a silver base and a bamboo and Tosa-Shi paper reflector. A projected light beam is shot upwards from the base and is caught by the paper shade positioned at an angle directly above. A reflected, meditative glow on a floating disc, highlighting the texture of the paper’s structure. A simple balancing gesture of capturing light which would have otherwise been lost.
