Aida Armchair
DESIGNED BY Roberto Lazzeroni
FOR Poltrona Frau
Aida, with its soft and graceful design, evokes the corolla of a flower.
The arms open and curve outwards like petals. Simple geometrical forms make up what is a delicate yet strongly characterised ensemble. Again, with this design, Roberto Lazzeroni has created a familiar shape whose incisive style makes it new and modern.
Besides nature, the iconographic reference is 1950s furniture. Aida echoes the clean forms and the combination of fabric and leather typical of that period. In this refined oscillation between past and present, the armchair blends traditional production techniques with up-to-date materials and effects.
